Clarissa Rose Abrantes, MD
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Abrantes received her BS in Medical Technology from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila in 1996, and her doctoral degree from the university’s Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 2000. She served her medical internship at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan, Philippines, and worked as a general physician at Divine Love General Hospital in Lipa City, Philippines, before relocating to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit to serve her internal medicine residency. In 2007, she relocated to Lady Lake, Fla., where she worked for Premier Medical Associates treating acute and chronic conditions of patients. She joined the Institute of Cardiovascular Excellence (ICE) in 2011.
